Emergency aid: Together for Goma

Together for Goma: Change lives, give hope

In Goma, there are 500,000 refugees. Emergency aid was already needed. The war reached the city this week, M23/AFC took over, and aid agencies were forced to withdraw. 4Watoto remains. We know the community and can help immediately.

Outside our gates, people are struggling to survive – mothers without food, the sick without care, children on the cold ground.

What will come, we do not know. What we do know: we must help now. Every life, every bit and every smile counts. Will you join us?

WHAT DOES YOUR DONATION DO:

WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?

Providing direct emergency aid to as many people as possible. What we can do, we simply do.

Providing and improving basic needs such as water, food, and shelter. Additionally, we bring entertainment, education, and a fresh haircut for a moment of joy and dignity.

Providing and improving basic needs such as water, food, and shelter. Additionally, we bring entertainment, education, and a fresh haircut for a moment of joy and dignity.

Working together to make the transition from emergency relief to sustainable self-reliance and reconstruction.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO SPECIFICALLY?

✔️ Free haircuts – A fresh haircut for a bit of dignity and self-confidence.

✔️ Entertainment and relaxation – Fun activities to escape the harsh reality for a while.

✔️ Webinars on hope and togetherness – Inspirational and educational sessions for mental strength, trauma healing and confidence. ✔️ Clean water – Vital for drinking, cooking and hygiene.

✔️ Donate clothes and shoes – We make sure that those who need it receive it.

✔️ Changing individual lives – We look at the personal needs of each person. Think of special medical procedures.

&

Develop partnerships so we can continue to build Goma, the empowerment of children and disadvantaged people. Aid is needed now and is vital. But real change comes from sustainable solutions: education, employment and strong communities. Aid is needed now, but empowerment through education, skills and economic opportunities gives people the power to build their own future.

When people can return to their villages, we will assist in that as well.
