Stichting 4Watoto records data (such as name, address, place of residence, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address and method of registration) for the purpose of executing the donation, the monthly contribution, or processing a one-off gift. We can also use this data to inform you and/or your child about our activities, projects and products. If you do not wish to receive this information, you can notify Stichting 4Watoto in writing via newsletter@4watoto.com
Personal data
We do not collect any personal data on our website unless you provide it to us voluntarily. In order to optimize the content of our emails, we record the response (open and clicks) to our emails at an individual level. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe via a link in the newsletter. All information provided by you will be treated confidentially by us.
View, correct or delete data
You can request access to the data we collect about you or have it corrected or deleted at any time. You can submit your request by letter, including your name, address, telephone number and a copy of a valid ID. You can send your email to Stichting 4Watoto via contact@4watoto.com
Security
Stichting 4Watoto ensures appropriate organizational, technical and physical security of its systems, in which your data is stored. In this way we ensure that your data is only accessible to persons who are authorized to do so by virtue of their position and that the data is only used for the purposes for which it was obtained and compatible purposes.
Social media platform
In order to show you targeted posts or advertisements, Stichting 4Watoto can use the options offered by social media platforms to advertise through them, such as Facebook (Facebook Custom Audiences). For this purpose, WWF-NL can provide the platform in question with your email address or telephone number in a hashed (encrypted, untraceable) manner. The social media service provider cannot retrieve your email address or telephone number through hashing, but it can ensure that advertisements are tailored to your profile if you are a member of the platform in question, for example by showing 4Watoto information.
The platform does not have any data that can be directly traced back to your personal data, other than the data that you have already provided to the provider of the platform in question or that is already known to the platform. Through this targeted approach around 4Watoto campaigns, we ensure that you only see relevant information.
If you object to this procedure, you can notify us by email at contact@4watoto.com, stating “Opt out of targeted information via FB platform”. You can also opt out of advertisements on the platform in question; in the case of Facebook, via the privacy settings.
