4Watoto's mission is to provide housing, facilities and utilities for torn communities in North Kivu (DR Congo).
Currently 4Watoto does this by providing in the basic needs of children and guiding them in their journey to adulthood. 4Watoto commits herself to help orphans, including children who roam homeless on the streets of Goma in eastern Congo and war-victims of surrounding villages. 4Watoto provides these children with a home where they can feel safe and loved, develop themselves, eat healthy, learn and play. To say it short: to really allow them to be a child.
What does 4Watoto stand for?
The 4Watoto Foundation operates in two countries, the common goal is to establish a connection that creates knowledge transfer, cooperation and mutual understanding.
These values are implemented in the performance of the work. Above all, 4Watoto strives for the recovery, growth and loving care of children. 4Watoto wants the rights of the child, as enshrined in the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, to be guaranteed. The foundation does everything within its power to realize these children's rights.
4Watoto's mission will not be finished until:
Let's unite!
