We want to be able to offer a meta-perspective to our donors and volunteers about the considerations we make, the projects we are working on, the finances and the people involved.
Nowadays, people are very skeptical about development aid. Of course, there are things that don't go well, but every organization does certain things that don't work. It is therefore an illusion that the work at a foundation or NGO (non-governmental organization) always goes well. The 4Watoto Foundation believes that it is good to communicate honestly about this as a development organization, instead of painting a rosy picture. The volunteers of the 4Watoto Foundation are passionate about the work they are allowed to do. We show the special things we do, but at the same time we also show the setbacks and involve the entire organization in the choices we make.
How are we transparent?
